Settings for e-mail clients
| For MS Outlook Express:
1. Run Outlook Express.
2. Open Tools->Options in Outlook Express.
3. Select Maintenance tab and press "Store Folder".
4. In Store Location dialog set new location on the protected disk.
Note: After you apply the settings for the e-mail you should mount disk before you run Outlook Express.

| For Mozilla Thunderbird:
1. Copy your profile data folder to the protected disk.
2. Open Mozilla Thunderbird.
3. In Mozilla Thunderbird open Tools->Account Settings and redirect the Message Storage to the folder on the protected disk.
Note: After you apply the settings for the e-mail you should mount disk before you run Mozilla Thunderbird.

Firewall alert about StrongDisk's changes of the system registry
It may occur when you are installing StrongDisk Pro or setting up tamporary folders on the protected disk. It's normal behavior of firewall or antispyware. The changes StrangDisk have made are absolutely safe.
Protected disk is not accessible in explorer
If it wasn't formatted click right mouse button, choose format item from popup menu and drive will be formatted.
If you have no appropriate permissions(NTFS only). Set up the permissions on the disk and it will be accessible.
Electronic key errors
1. Check the device is present in Device Manager.
2. Check all drivers are installed.
3. Run manufature utilities to perform self-test.
4. Check all settings for the electronic key in StrongDisk Pro.
Protected disk can not be mounted
If you are using Microsoft CSP under different OS for disk encryption you can get the error when you are trying to mount the disk. It means that you OS has no such algorithms. To avoid the problem use algorithms from CryptLib.
If you try to mount the image file or partition made with different version of StrongDisk Pro you should run convertor first.
How to upgrade StrongDisk Pro
Upgrade to StrongDisk Pro 3.6
Use the following instruction for quick and easy upgrade of the StrongDisk Pro without losing the data.
Step 1.Mount all protected disk via current version of StrongDisk Pro and copy (do not move) all data to the logical drives.
Step 2. Delete old image files and remove current version of StrongDisk Pro. Image files can be deleted via standard Windowsd tools.
Step 3. Install and register StrongDisk Pro 3.6.
Step 4. If you are using electronic key or smart card you should format the device before using in StrongDisk Pro 3.6.
Step 5. Create new disks with StrongDisk Pro 3.6.
Step 7. Copy (do not move!) data to the protected disks.
Step 7. Wipe case sensetive data from logical drives you copy from old protected disks with Burner utility.
Step 8. Make settings you need in StrongDisk Pro 3.6.
